2019 Montreal ComicCon: The best treat for your inner geek.

Each year, the Montreal ComicCon (also sometimes spelled Comic-Con or Comic Con) is the highlight of the Montreal geek life.

The event lasts 3 days an gathers thousands of comic book fans. The 2019 ComicCon will take place at the Palais des Congres de Montreal from July 5 to July 7.

This year again, Komico will be attending and is looking forward to see you pay a visit to our booth in order to browse through our huge collection of comics or just have a quick chat.

What to do at the Montreal ComicCon?

Here is a list of things you can do while you are at the ComicCon:

Meet with celebrity guests.

Each year, many celebrities are coming to the ComicCon to meet with the fans, take pictures and sign autographs. You will have to pay for this however, the price ranges from $60 to $120 based on the guest. Also, you should be prepared to wait a significant time in line.

Attend the conferences.

Many of the guests also go on stage for Q&A sessions or full on conferences, those are mostly free except for special events that will require a ticket. There are also many panels and workshops that are organized throughout the ComicCon.

Do some shopping in the Exhibit Hall

The exhibit hall is a huge market where you will be able to find nearly anything you might be looking for (including Komico). This is the place to find rare comic books, apparel, statues, gadgets and many, many other things.

Entertainment zones.

Within the ComicCon there are several zones that are dedicated to different kinds of entertainment (video games, table games, retro gaming,…). Those zones are free and are open most of the day. It is usually a good way to meet new people and have a really good time.

Walk around an meet people.

The Montreal ComicCon is a convention, and as such it is a huge gathering of like-minded people. Just go out there, meet cosplayers, talk with fans and meet new people. You will not regret it.

Where will Komico be at the ComicCon?
