Marvel x-classified

Marvel: X-Classified new information available

Marvel: X-Classified

Back in May, comic book fans discovered on page 69 of the Marvel Free Previews a mystery title simply called X-Classified.

What we knew then about X-Classified.

Here’s the information listed in the preview book:

Title: X CLASSIFIED #1

Writer: CLASSIFIED

Artist: CLASSIFIED

Variant A Cover by J Scott Campbell

Virgin Variant A Cover by J Scott Campbell

Variant B Cover by J Scott Campbell

Virgin Variant B Cover by J Scott Campbell

Variant Cover by Skottie Young

Another piece of information was available in the order form: While some of the covers would only be available fo comic book stores that order a certain number of copies, some variants would become available for orders that were a certain percent above the total order for X-Men Gold #30.

For those of you who did not read that specific issue, it is the X-Men Gold comic in which Kitty Pryde marries Colossus.

What we know now about X-Classified

A couple of days ago, bleedingcool released an article claiming that the actual title would be Mr & Mrs X.

Since the information was released, there has been a lot of speculation about the potential new series (X-CLASSIFIED 2 was listed in the June Marvel Free Previews).

Some claim that Mr X could be referring to professor Xavier although people tend to fail to guess who Mrs X could be in that case.

Others are tying the order form link to X-Men gold #30 to claim that it would be a new mini-series about Kitty and Colossus.

That opens a realm of possibilities, from a link to the supposed Kitty Pryde solo movie to a potential link to other characters such as Deadpool (and maybe others like Domino) due to the presence of Colossus in the Deadpool movies.

Bottom line is it seems that Marvel is starting to slowly release information to keep the hype around the Comic going.
